Dolores, Colorado sits quietly off of Highway 145 at the elevation of 6,900ft. perfect for altitude training. Dolores is halfway between Durango and Telluride and only 20 minutes from Mesa Verde National Park. The USWCDP is known in town and everyone looks forward to having pros in town to ride. Everything is within walking distance, grocery, library, post office and pub. Mountain bike trails are a quick drive up the mesa to the San Juan National Forest to the Boggy Draw trails or 15 minutes to Phil’s World. Road riding and mountain biking is some of the best in the country, with clean roads, easy access to trails and locals that are aware of cyclists.

Dolores Food Market- Has fresh fish every Friday, bulk bins, Wi-Fi and local products from eggs, meat, cheeses and fruits and vegetables.
Sol Cycles has a full range of mountain bikes, road bikes and any accessory needed as well as food items for on the go nutrition.
Dolores River Brewing offers an array of locally brewed beers as well as wine and a full menu. The brewery also has music inside and an outdoor patio for those perfect days. Open from 4pm-10pm and closed on Mondays.
San Juan National Forest mountain bike trails
The Dolores river runs right through town. It is common in the summer time to see rafters, fishermen and individuals just looking to cool off.
Parks- There are 2 parks in town, one on the east side of town and one on the west side. Both have access to the river and walking trails, perfect for picnics or just getting some sun and hanging out.
The Dolores Library has plenty of books to choose from as well as WiFi. The library is next to the walking path and river. Patrons are welcome to sit outside while enjoying a great book.
